the only way this makes sense is by putting the word "do' at the beggining of the sentence otherwise it is a statement. is this correct by looking at the punctuation?
also due to the verb being 2nd person plural is it correct to add "your homeland" or would "the fatherland" work?

right on. It is more natural English to add 'do'.
