Blank downloads?

Post by oistos »

Hello,

I have downloaded the "Introduction to the language of verse in Homer", the "Odyssey book XII" and "First Greek Writer" successfully. However when I tried to download Goodwin's "Greek Grammar" it was blank except fo the title page. I also tried to download Smyth's "Greek Grammar for Colleges" and the same thing happened. Has anybody else had this problem? I downloaded the writer in between the other two, so I don't think it's my computer causing the problem (Mac OS 10.)

Any ideas?

Thanks.

You have to use the Acrobat reader, not Preview, to look at most of the Textkit PDFs. They use compression Preview doesn't know about.

Ever since we started using adaptive compression there has been lots of confusion.

What/Where is this 'preview' feature that visitors are using? I need to get some help instructions updated.

Preview is the default command used in Mac OSX to view images and PDFs. It isn't happy with the compression, at least not current versions.
