) about this sentence ([face=SPIonic]d.[/face]) – one grammar book says that the genitive participle
should follow [face=SPIonic]ai0sqa/nomai, a0kou/w, punqa/nomai[/face]
in indirect statements, and gives this as an example:

(But now, unhappy me, I hear that he is dead)
yet JWW 630.1 uses the accusative, which would give the answer as:
