Are there any online pronuncitation cites for classical Latin, or can you recommend CDs or tapes? Thanks.

Daddion,

I turned up an interesting link for you. That has 18 recitations of Latin poetry in various metres in MP3 format, and the texts to accompany them for download in PDF format or viewable online as well.

The page also provides links to other resources for the pronunciation of Latin.

http://dekart.f.bg.ac.yu/~vnedeljk/VV/

enjoy,

Seba

http://www.rhapsodoioralgreekandlatin.org/

-- This site has an excellent summary of ancient Greek pronunciation. I thought it had a Latin one too, but it seemed to have disappeared last time I checked. Perhaps I was looking in the wrong place. If I was right and it actually is gone, then you could try getting in touch with the people who manage the site.
If you want to be in step with the most current and, linguistically, most "correct" pronunciation methods for these two classical languages -- these are the people to talk to.
