SCHOLA has moved

Here you can discuss all things Latin. Use this board to ask questions about grammar, discuss learning strategies, get help with a difficult passage of Latin, and more.

SCHOLA has moved

Post by metrodorus »

Due to ongoing problems at NING, Schola has moved:
We are now using a new network, and the service is vastly improved:

The new address is http://schola.network-maker.com/

There are 3 locutoria - including a new one for text chat, that is very elegant.
You can use it without login, or login using twitter.

We also have a video/voice chat facility - this you can log in to using twitter or facebook.

There is also an integrated chat solution at the foot of each page for 1-2-1 text and video chat with logged in members.

Membership is rising fast. The old Schola on NIng had almost 3,000 members, accumulated since 2008.
I run http://latinum.org.uk which provides the Adler Audio Latin Course, other audio materials, and additional free materials on YouTube.

Membership is rising: The most active members from the Old Schola are now mostly signed up, and the text chatroom is active. Unlike the old chat, it has an online archive, so you can scroll back and read the previous conversations. Login to chat is as a guest or via a twitter account. We now have 122 members - well down from the old 2,900, but most of those members were inactive and did not contribute to the site.
