From "The Beginner's Latin Book" by Collar and Daniell - can someone be so kind as to check my responses. (With exercise text so no one has to look them up).

Page 11, § 31.I (Genitive And Dative)
1. Puellae (dative) est rosa. (To the girl is a rose) The girl has a rose.
2. Puella rosam habet. The girl has a rose.
3. Reginis sunt columbae. (To the queens are doves) The queens have doves.
4. Reginae columbas habent. The queen has doves.
5. Rosa puellae est alba. The girl's rose is white.
6. Rosae puellarum sunt albae. The girls' roses are white.
7. Galba filiae columbam dat. Galba gave a dove to his daughter.
8. Cornelia puellis rosas dat. Cornelia gave roses to her daughters.
9. Galba Corneliae aquilam dat. Galba gave an eagle to Cornelia.
10. Galba et Cornelia filias habent. Galba and Cornelia have daughters.

1. Filiae Corneliae rosas albas habent. Cornelia's daughters have white roses.
2. Cornelia puellae parvae rosam magnam dat. Cornelia gave her small daughter a large rose.
3. Est hora prima lunae plenae. It is the first hour of the full moon.
4. Hora est secunda et luna est plena. It is the second hour and the moon is full.
5. Magna est rosa puellae parvae. The rose of the small girl is large.
6. Galba puellae tubam parvam dat. Galba gave a small trumpet to his daughter.
7. Columbae albae sunt filiae bonae. The good girls have white doves.
8. Multae et longae sunt Britannia viae. The streets of Britian are many and long.
9. Britannia reginam bonam habet. Britian has a good queen.
10. Galba filiis bonae reginae rosas multas dat. Galba gave the daughters of the good queen many roses.
I wish the authors would us a few more nouns/verbs/adjectives than what they employ.
'dat': give instead of gave (he isn't into past tenses yet).
puella/filia: why do they always give you girls and daughters simultanuously (sp?)? I'm always making the same mistakes.

I've got a Dutch Latin exercise book from around 1900 that uses 50 different 1st declension nouns in the first exercise alone... I'm not sure if you'd want that.
