Salvete!

The following list of works by Arcadius Avellanus (see the Latin Wikipedia for more about him) is taken from this Textkit-thread:

I finally found an online version of the missing Mons Spes, et novellae aliae by Arcadius Avellanus:
This book (which can be read online and downloaded picture by picture) by Arcadius Avellanus contains translations of several stories:
  • Mons Spes (Mount-Hope) by Ezra Parmalee Prentice
  • Rex Aurei Rivi (The King of the Golden River) by John Ruskin
  • Domus atque Mens (The House and the Brain) by Edward Bulwer Lytton
  • Monile (The Neclace) by Guy de Maupassant
  • Ostium Cl. V. de Maletroit (The Sire Maletroit's Door by Robert Louis Stevenson
  • Suppetiarium Mergularum by Ezra Parmalee Prentice
Also to be added to the above list:
  • Arena Palaestrarum, the second part of Avellanus' Tusculan System. The first part is the primer Palaestra, and the third part was to be a classical "Reader" with the title Medulla.
The link of the Palaestra should be changed to an internationally accessible version.

The last two links are taken from the page Libri scolastici of the Italian site Vivarium Novum (well worth visiting).

Valete,

Carolus Raeticus

Thanks Carolus Raeticus.

There is also another version of Palaestra. Maybe it has been published later but apart from the first lessons (dots and lines), it seems quite different and has much more material.
