Trouble with a line In Philoctetes.
ου δητα, τεκνον, ποικιλωσσ αυδωμενον
δεχου τα συμφεροντα των αει λογων. The ou has a circumflex and rough breathing.
Is the bold a genitive absolute?
Thanks

Re: philoctetes 130
Should be αὐδωμένου, not αὐδωμένον.
It could be, but it could also be a genitive depending on λογων, couldn't it? It wouldn't make much difference in meaning, as I understand the passage. Genitive absolute seems like a more natural analysis.
