I'm using D'Ooge's wonderful book, but am also using "The Beginner's Latin Book" by Collar and Daniell due to the wealth of exercises they provide. Can someone be so kind as to check my responses. (With exercise text so no one has to look them up).
Critics welcome. Suggestions taken. Thanks in advance.

Everything seems fine. I imagine the rogue introduction of "small" in 13 was a typo. I also imagine that the exercise book is currently only dealing with the nominative and accusative cases, as you will come to see that many of those latin phrases could be regarded as being in different cases, with different meanings (e.g. regina mala could be "a/the bad queen" or "by/with/from a/the bad queen" depending upon the length of the a vowel!).
I imagine, furthermore, that your alternation between "a" and "the" in translation is purely arbitrary, as it should be with such short phrases.
All in all, not really much scope for going wrong, but everything seems fine.

Again thanks. #13 should be "A white rose".

Yes, these were nominitive/accusitive only, I think I've got a handle on the dative/abalative being "to" and "by/with/from". The other cases seem straightforward.
THANK you very much for taking the time to read thru them and offering suggestions.
