38 Latin stories
In a couple of the stories there are instances of compound verb tenses reversed (est ausus/est passus) instead of the usual paradigm. Does this reversal change the basic meaning of the sentence? Thanks, Paul

The reversal of the participle and the finite form of esse shouldn't change the basic meaning of the sentence, assuming both verbal elements belong together as periphrastic (compound) verb forms.
