ἔγραψε ὀ Σαῦλος
τὸ σκῶμμα·
διὰ τί Εψιλον φοβεῖται Ζητα;
ὅτι Ζητα Ητα Θητα. (Ζ εφαγεν θ).

{ενομιζον σημερον οτι εκεῖνο το σχῶμμα "πολυπροσφοριον" εστιν. καταλαμβάνεις, Μαρκε;}

Yes, accents can affect how funny a joke is. It's funniest in Erasmian-Buthian--zayta ata thayta, not as funny but still funny in--MG zeeta eata theta, (Ζ ἐσθίει Θ) and barely funny at all in restored Attic--dzahta ahta tahahta.

Have you tried this one in different proforai?

κεφαλὴν καὶ φαλλὸν* ἔχω.

{φαλλός ὁ, membrum virile, phallus, LSJ.}

I'm not an expert but Ancient Greek doesn't seem to have equivalents to warm and cool which sort of mean "a bit hot" and "a bit cold" respectively.
I think it is valid to use the the superlative to get degrees of hotness, hence θερμος warm to hot and θερμότατος as most hot ie very hot. Likewise for cold, ψυχρος and ψυχρότατος.
As for sweat ἱδρόω you can use for the verb and for noun I suggest υδωρ which means sweat as well as water.

No worries, Vivek. The key, I think, is to try to write a little every day.

* φρόνιμος, ον, also η, ον LSJ p.1956
I am writing in Ancient Greek not because I know Greek well, but because I hope that it will improve my fluency in reading. I got the idea for this from Adrianus over on the Latin forum here at Textkit.

:cry:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
ὕστερον ὁ ἥλιος ου ετι λαμπει και ἄνεμος εστι νυν ἀσθενής. νομιζω εινει ἕισ κατα κλίμακα υοῦ βωφόρτου.
