Is this a mistake?
In Orberg LLPSI Exercitium 8 of Cap XXXIX he has:
'Filius et nopos Anchisae suadent ne omnes suos secum perd_.'
The idea is to provide the correct subjunctive after 'ut' or 'ne'. His answer is:
'Filius et nepos Anchisae suadent ne omnes suos secum perderet.'
But this is surely wrong as suadent is present and so the subjunctive should be present also...giving us suadeant?
Is this a mistake?

"suadent" is not after "ne". Oh, sorry. I misunderstood your question. It's OK if contrary to fact.
Non sequitur istud verbum "ne" conjunctionem. Meâ culpâ. Tuam quaestionem non cepi. Bonum est contra factum.

I'm writing in Latin hoping for correction, and not because I'm confident in how I express myself. Latinè scribo ut ab omnibus corrigar, non quod confidenter me exprimam.
