Real communication in Ancient Greek between real people is a great way to really internalize what you have learned. I've done it a little, but want to do more, and more regularly. But I'd like to do it in a directed, limited way. A free discussion takes me outside my ability too quickly. So, I thought we could try this. I will post some simple stories, usually stories that I have written for my beginning Greek class. We can ask each other questions about the stories.
I hope my plan will allow people both at a higher and lower level of Greek comprehension to join in.
Post a question or an answer:
- REPEAT FACTS:
- Easy. Ask or answer who, what, where, when.
REPHRASE PARTS:- Intermediate. As you ask or answer a question, find a way to rephrase the story, using different forms or vocabulary.
ANALYZE:- Advanced. Ask and aswer why.
CREATE:- More Advanced. Add to or finish parts of the story.
[Corrections on the story can be in brackets and contain English]
