Is there a greek equivalant to the english word meaning clemency? In english there is kind of a subtle difference between mercy and clemency and I'm just wondering if greek has different words to express the same difference.
The word "mercy" is equal to the greek "οίκτος" (iktos),
while the word "clemency" is equal to the greek "επιείκεια" (epii/kia), and it has a less strong meaning.
