Means Epic I think in English. I don't know the root. What does Epos mean?

It is a Greek loan word that Latin uses as the word for "epic (poetry)". It only occurs in nominative and accusative. I'm sure you could get a more detailed answer from the Greek forum if you are really curious; it looks like a really versatile word judging by the loads of definitions:
