I am plowing through a not-very-well-annotated Cicero, and have run into illus, hic and even is (and their friends) enough by now (book 1, section 33 of De Officiis.......) that I'm almost becoming comfortable with them - and just as I start thinking that, one of them pulls a fast one on me..........

Maybe some day someone will come up with some sort of sledgehammer to beat them into submission with..... Although I suppose that that's what the drills are for, isn't it...........

Kilmeny
