Help with a motto?

Postby artpro » Thu Oct 25, 2012 4:25 pm

Hello: I just posted my intro on the Open Board, so I hope it is OK if I ask a question.

I am working on an awards logo for a not for profit organization and I am suggesting a motto of "Truly With Praise". The best Latin translation I can come up with is "Vere Cum Laude". Would anyone kindly be able to confirm this is an accurate translation, or suggest a better one if not?

Thank you for any help in advance!

"Vere cum laude" literally means "truly with praise," so I'd say you're alright there. I'm not expert on Latin composition, so I can't suggest a better version off hand.
