Hi.

posco crimen
What does this mean ?

+ posco : ask for, beg, demand, desire --- money, mercy, letter, him to drink, him to sing, that he should ...., etc.
+ crimen : a judgment, charge, accusation, reproach, slander / crime, fault, offence

"I ask for[/beg/demand/desire] a judgement[/decision/verdict]"
I'm writing in Latin hoping for correction, and not because I'm confident in how I express myself. Latinè scribo ut ab omnibus corrigar, non quod confidenter me exprimam.

No, I think it's a request not for advice but for a decision or judgement, from a judge, say, or from the reader.
Non est admonitum desiderare sed crimen seu arbitrium desiderare, e judice enim vel lectore.

Yes, posco means also to request in English.
Ita, et desiderare significat poscere.
