In isto loco "Aiacen" mendum typographicum esse credo, non minùs quod "Aiacem" accusativo unâ cum "Aiacen" inflectione in eodem loco invenitur.I think "Aiacen" is a typo in the passage you refer to because Aiax is third declension, not second, and additionally you have "Aiacem" accusative in the same passage further down.
I'm writing in Latin hoping for correction, and not because I'm confident in how I express myself. Latinè scribo ut ab omnibus corrigar, non quod confidenter me exprimam.
