Burnet, pronounciation

I've thought that Burnet was to be pronounced with a mute t, but now I suspect I was wrong?

Non aptae hae meditationes de sermonibus anglicis, quae tam perperàm collocatae et frequentes sunt ut sententiam huius sitûs frangant et aliorsùm avertant.
I'm writing in Latin hoping for correction, and not because I'm confident in how I express myself. Latinè scribo ut ab omnibus corrigar, non quod confidenter me exprimam.
