Plurals??

Post by Od4jesus »

Hello there.... I am a homeschooling mom using the curriculum Latina Christiana. My daughters asked me a question the I couldn't answer. We are learning the second declension neuter. When declining a word like auxillum and making it plural... What is the difference between auxilli and auxilla?

Auxili(i) means "of the aid" - that is, it is strictly genitive singular. The plural nominative is always auxilia.
mihi iussa capessere fas est
