Does γίγνομαι ever rule acc. or am I confused?

Found an example (Arist. E.N. 1114a4):

ἀλλὰ τοῦ τοιούτους γενέσθαι αὐτοὶ αἴτιοι.

hi laurentius, τοιούτους there looks like it's acc. because used in the articular inf. τοῦ ... γενέσθαι, not because it's being governed by the verb. cheers, chad

Not at all. When the subject of the infinitive is the same as that of the main verb, it appears as
nominative, and when it is not, as accusative.
