Orberg in LLPSI Cap XXVI scribit: '..sed omne consilium fugiendi me delectat, ac tu id quod semel excogitavisti perficere soles'.

Nonne illa sententia eadem est ut haec: 'atque quod tu semel excogitavisti id soles perficere'

Nonne 'id' = 'quod' ? - i.e. both refer to the same thing

"ac tu id quod semel excogitavisti perficere soles"

"and you are used to finishing [/inclined to finish /tend to finish] that [/the thing] which you have once thought out."

Nonne illa sententia eadem est ut haec: 'atque quod tu semel excogitavisti id soles perficere'

Eadem est ista.
I'm writing in Latin hoping for correction, and not because I'm confident in how I express myself. Latinè scribo ut ab omnibus corrigar, non quod confidenter me exprimam.
