In the interest of not being accused of hi-jacking a thread again, I've moved this from the Obama=Cicero thread. (BTW, if Obama is like Cicero, I'll have to seriously downgrade my opinion of Cicero. Obama's rhetoric is a triumph of style over substance; he can make a whole speech, and not really say anything.)

My opinion is, all ἔργα and no παιδιά make Ἀλέξανδρος a dull παῖς. There, that's about the best I can do right now.

So the tricks that cure dull kids is called παιδιά-tricks.

Are you telling me I've misused παιδιά as a translation for "play"? If so, I'll take your word on it. It was the best word I could find in Woodhouse.
