Greek Latin New Testament

Postby paulusnb » Wed Jan 21, 2009 9:58 pm

Does anyone know of an electronic copy of a Greek-Latin New Testament? Amazon sells it published for 40.

Thanks

Here are some admittedly weak options:

Bad scan job here: http://books.google.com/books?id=9xUVAA ... -a#PPP7,M1
Another bad scan: http://books.google.com/books?id=U1-ybV ... #PPA101,M1
Better scan than others, but still bad: http://books.google.com/books?id=82kGXw ... -a#PPR1,M1
Good scan, but only Epistles to the Hebrews and Colosseans: http://books.google.com/books?id=tlgUAA ... -a#PPP5,M1
Good Greek only version (with Latin commentary): http://books.google.com/books?id=BLk9AA ... -a#PPP9,M1
Another good Greek only: http://books.google.com/books?id=j0MAAA ... A35-IA5,M1
Good Latin only scan: http://books.google.com/books?id=IlpHAA ... -a#PPA1,M1

It's funny that they can get good scans of the languages seperately, but not together...

Thanks Thesaurus. You are right about the quality. The Greek accents and the random dots on the page blend together, making the Greek text as hard to see as the images in those 3D posters from the nineties. I guess I will shell out the money.

Thesaurus, check this out http://unbound.biola.edu/. You can choose up to 3 parallel translations in many languages, including Latin and Greek.

Oh, to keep adding additions to my own posts.....

The Sword Project Download allows you to have three Biblical texts (Italian, Latin, and Greek for example) opened at the same time. http://www.crosswire.org/sword/software/index.jsp

Here is another link.

http://www.sacred-texts.com/

They have both the Vulgate and Greek New Testament as well as the Septuagint for the Old Testament in Greek. There are also some other things on the site in both Greek and Latin for those interested. Most of them can be accessed through the classics link.
