Hi everyone,
My name's Edward. I live in Atlanta, and I'm a web developer by trade, with a background in biology. I'm here mostly because I'm trying to learn Ancient Greek. I had 4 years of Latin in high school, ~20 years ago, and I actually wanted to move on to Ancient Greek back then, but it never happened. I have an overwhelming array of interests, so it's hard for me to stick to anything for very long, but I'm getting a bit better as I get older.
My Latin instruction was of the grammar/translation variety, unfortunately, and I'm hoping I can learn Greek differently, so I can actually read it someday. I'd like to do the same with Latin someday, too.
In other news, I collect coins and succulents and like making fermented food and beverages. I'm also bad at writing conclusions. Looking forward to participating in the group!
