Short introduction: I am new

Hey fellow classics fans,

I am Thomas, 21 years old and study Greek and Latin Languages and Culture in Amsterdam.
Next year I will live in Venice for half a year (doing my 'minor' there) and therefore, I am also following an intensive course on Italian.
I am not a native speaker of English, but still hope to make some sort of contribution to this website where possible.

My interests in classics are quite wide, but my preference goes to Greek history prose (Thucydides) and Homer's Odyssey. Amsterdam is known for its research in Greek discourse particles, Latin discourse particles, pragmatics, syntax, and word order in Ancient Greek. I hope that some day, I can make a contribution to the field of Greek discourse particles (though Denniston makes it quite difficult for us to come up with something 'entirely' new).
