A very nice set of (free) downloadable PDF format lessons are available from

It's specifically designed to teach you how to read the Greek New Testament Bible I think, but very useful if you just want to learn Classical Greek.<br />The first few lessons (1-5) concentrate on the pronunciation and accentation of Greek words. By later lessons (6-10), it concentrates on the grammar and declension of nouns etc. Each lesson is about 20-30 pages. This course is made for anyone with no experience of Greek, or any foreign languages at all for that matter!
