Some perseus help please?

Postby Bert » Sun May 16, 2004 10:04 pm

I am a little overwelmed by the size of the perseus web site.
I use one part of quite regularly but outside of that I am lost.
How do I find out the meaning of a Greek inflected form. I entered my word in a search field but I did not get results.
Thanks in advance.

Go to

http://www.perseus.tufts.edu/cgi-bin/mo ... lang=greek

and enter your word in the field. Then click the "Analyze" button.

Bert, the Greek transliteration for search is not like what we use here on Textkit.
You should write o^ for w and e^ for h, etc. See http://www.perseus.tufts.edu/Help/fonthelp.html .
