One of these things does not belong

Post by solitario »

Ok, I was looking up Latin educational CD's on eBay, and I found one which states it is useful for:

* Asking common questions
* Making a telephone call
* Talking about the weather
* Using the postal service
* Working with a calendar
* Ordering at a restaurant
* Inquiring about directions
* Traveling
* Counting money
* Shopping
* Family relations
* Reading street signs
* And much more!

Can you figure out which of these are completely useless today?
I count seven.

Many of those things have never been useful... making a telephone call, in Rome or the modern world in Latin?
