Elvis and the Classics

Post by edonnelly »

Today is apparently the anniversary of the death of Elvis Presley. The radio station I was listening to this morning ran a story about it. There were interviews with the people who made the trip to Graceland to pay respects, and one of them said "this is my annual Virgil." So, it's good to know the King is promoting the classics...
The lists:
G'Oogle and the Internet Pharrchive - 1100 or so free Latin and Greek books.
DownLOEBables - Free books from the Loeb Classical Library

That's cute. Isn't Graceland a Greek revival mansion?
Given the choice between accomplishing something and just lying around, I'd rather lie around. No contest.—Eric Clapton
