Translation From Statius' Thebaid

Post by Essorant »

This is a translation I made of Statius' Thebaid, Liber I. It is a little project I began alongside reading Statius' Thebaid. Please take a look if you wish.

I don't know the poem but your English version seems great and pretty heroic, Essorant. You make me want to read the Latin original.
Tu me carmen princeps legere velle facis.
I'm writing in Latin hoping for correction, and not because I'm confident in how I express myself.
