Can someone help me with this?
Ille curavit ut nos e tempestate servaremur neve mergeremur-- vel potius nos ipsi qui merces eiecimus.
he took care so we would be saved or not drown in the storm-- or ... something to do with throwing out merchandise.
what is potius?
