sorry for asking all the time, but I suppose a comment from you could be useful to me.
So far I am to write an exam in German-Latin course. We do translate orginal Caesar texts from German in Latin. I will write this exam next winter, in January, I suppose.
My German-Latin abilities are not so good, and I don't really have a plan, what to do to get to a niveau, which ist good enough.
We do not have any textbooks, we do not have any books with grammar exercises in German for students.
We are always told to read, but this way is not certain enough for me. I have to pass this exam, and I have to do much more, than read Caesar, I have to write Latin.
So what would you tell me to do? At the moment I am translating a Caesartext from German in Latin every day and after translating I look in the original text. Is this a good method?
I am grateful for every comment .
