Hercules battle with Antaeus

Postby Jim Bryan » Sun Sep 30, 2018 8:02 am

Is there a simple Latin story about the wrestling match between Hercules and Antaeus. I am trying to write some simple "back stories" for Hercules' 12 labours (Fabulae Faciles). I it would be an interesting scene to read, I just need a simple Latin version to get the vocab and structures.
Thanks
Jim

Or an description of another wrestling match (Antaeus is in Vicipaedia, but it doesn't describe the fight, and the vocab isn't easy :-)

Bedwere
Both of these are really helpful. And the first one has lots about Hercules that is not in Fabulae Faciles, so could be used for back stories. :D
Thank you
