Nonne terrae (pl.) = universus orbis? ...orbis terrarium...

Yes, something like that. We might say, "And Romulus was no longer on earth."

Thanks Qimmik, I was thinking that the plural use of the noun terra, -ae implies all lands - i.e. the whole earth.
