Translation - English to Latin - please

Post by Tattoodan »

Good morning all

I am thinking of getting a tattoo devoted to my daughter and I would really appreciate it if you could please give me the Latin translation of the following;

My heart, my soul, my daughter

Or

My heart, my soul, my life, my daughter

Also opinions on what sounds better too?

In addition how would you write her date of birth in Roman numerals? I am from England so we do DDMMYYYY which is 16-10-2011

Thank you all so so much in advance.

Cor meum, anima mea, filia mea

anima means "soul," and can also mean "life." So that one word can work for both versions

16-10-2011 16 is XVI 10 is X 2011 is MMXI

P.S. or you can get "anima," meaning soul, and "vita," meaning life

vita would be "vita mea"
