Aliquid

Post by kembreg »

I've read that aliquid means something.

I also read the plural is aliqui.

However, I can't make the connection to the plural of something.
How can something have a plural.

How would aliqui be translated?

Thanks,

David

Aliquid is neuter; its plural is aliquae. Aliqui can be both masculine singular or plural (it's a long i in both).

"Some things".

Either "some man" or "some men".

Thanks for the reply.

Can you then use aliqui as an adjective, in the sense aliqui liberi, aliquae feminae (some children, some women) ?
