ADJUVATE! LATIN 2 CANCELED at UCLA! I need an alternative.
I work full-time and want to continue my studies in Latin. I have studied through chapter 15 of Wheelock in Latin 1. Are there any online or correspondences courses for Latin that use Wheelock?

A quick Google search yielded this:
http://www.continuetolearn.uiowa.edu/ccp/gis/courses/
Latin I and II appear to use Wheelock, 2nd Year Latin moves on to Allen and Greenough.
On a side note in case anyone else is interested, UF in Gainesville, FL has an online, start-any-time, "Oxford Latin Course" based class:
http://www.correspondencestudy.ufl.edu/ ... Course=603
Hope this helps.
Best,

Another distance learning course
Also came across this at the University of Kansas:
http://www.kuce.org/isc/lat.html
LAT 108 goes all the way through Chap. 40 of Wheelock. From the course preface it looks like the real work starts about where you just stopped in the text.
There were a few others but none of them definitively stated using Wheelock. Of course if you aren't looking for actual college credit but just want the *knowledge* then there are some Wheelock based groups here:
http://www.quasillum.com/study/index.php
OR you could start one here on Textkit.
Best of luck deciding - I earned my Bachelor's and Master's working full-time, for the most part on my own nickel, so I have an idea of where you are coming from. Just remember - it can be done.
