Would anyone who has read or translated Virgil's Georgics be able to give me an approximation of its difficulty in comparison to other Latin poetry?
Thank you.

I've read/translated parts of it. I don't think it is really that hard compared to other poetry, just the usual vocabulary issues really. I could tell you all about legiones, itineres, contendere, vineas, longas naves and the like, but I found my agricultural vocabulary(both latin and english!) insufficient. After a while you get the hang of it, the poem is quite repetitive.
“Cum ego verbo utar,” Humpty Dumpty dixit voce contempta, “indicat illud quod optem – nec plus nec minus.”
“Est tamen rogatio” dixit Alice, “an efficere verba tot res indicare possis.”
“Rogatio est, “Humpty Dumpty responsit, “quae fiat magister – id cunctum est.”
