Homework Check

Salvete Omnes,

Could some kind person please check this. The topic my homework is demonstrative adjectives and pronouns. I had to insert the proper form of hic or ille to modify the underlined noun. Thanks in advance!

1. Cornelii in hac/illa villa habitant.

The Cornelii live in this/that country house.

2. "Spectate hunc/illum arcum, pueri!" clamavit Eucleides.

"Look at this/that arch, boys!" shouted Eucleides.

3. Olim hae/illae puellae in agris ambulant.

Once upon a time these/those girls were walking in the fields.

4. Vilicus cibum huic/illi servo non dabit.

The farm manager will not give this/that slave food.

5. "Vidistne hoc/illud aedificium, Marce?" inquit Sextus.

Did you see this/that building, Marcus?" said Sextus,

6. Raeda huius/illius mercatoris prope tabernam manet.

This/That merchant's carriage remains near the shop.

7. Mane hi or hae/illi or illae canes ferociter latrabant.

In the morning these/those dogs kept on barking fiercely.

8. Bona horum/illorum rusticorum in raeda erant.

The goods of these/those peasants were in the carriage.

9. Unus ex his/illis praedonibus gladium strinxit. (this one gave me the most trouble)

From these/those robbers, one drew a sword.

10. Nobis has/illas arbores ascendere non licet.

It is not permitted for us to climb these/those trees.

11. Hanc/Illam rem explicare non possum.

I am not able to explain this/that situation.

12. Hic/Ille strepitus Marcum non excitavit.

This/That noise did not rouse Marcus.
