Isn't there any shorter way of saying for example "I'll give you a paper like this" than "Paginam huic similem te donabo"? "Huic similem" sounds so long and clumsy.

using talis seems a good idea, though pagina seems an odd choice. i do not know the sense you wish for 'paper' but 'pagina', even in the sense of 'page' is to be found only in verse.

Yup whiteoctave is def right there. I think you're looking for something like charta.

yeah, charta is neat, EAH. tabellae is also used by Livy in a concrete for abstract sense for 'letters', much like the sense of 'paper' here in English may be.
