quid and quod both mean "what". quid is usually used interrogatively (in questions), quod is the relative pronoun.

quid
"What are you doing?"
"I know what you are doing."

quod
"We are doing what you told us to do."

“Est tamen rogatio” dixit Alice, “an efficere verba tot res indicare possis.”

Go fortIs et liber. (but as stated many times before: are you sure you want to get a tattoo without really knowing what it says?)
“Est tamen rogatio” dixit Alice, “an efficere verba tot res indicare possis.”

Yikes, that must be unsettling. The problem is that fortes is a nominative plural, fortis is the singular.

Besides, everybody knows Benissimus doesn't sleep but flies out at night and sucks Latin.

I am 100% sure that fortis et liber is correct, but I am not going to pressure you into getting it tattooed ;)
