Roman Trivia.

Post by Clark3934 »

I am not sure if this is the right forum, but here it goes. :)

These are some questions on my homework that I don't know the answer to. Can anyone help me out?
  • Technical term for the standard of a legion
  • Two Members of the Capitoline Triad.
  • Techinal Term for the Colosseum and other arenas within the Empire.
Thanks.

It wouldn't be right to do your homework for you, but how about some guesses:
1) Vexillum
2) Iupiter, Iuno & Minerva
3) Haven't a clue.

i think the "technical" term for no. 3, if there is such a thing, would be amphitheatrum.

signum might be more accurate for no. 1:

Yes, it is amphitheatrum.

And thanks for all the help. All the answers were right. :)
