liturgia horarum

Post by little flower »

hi again
Would anyone be interested in learning how to pray the latin divine office with me and my tutor.? I saw on an other website that for any seminarian or other person who likes to pray one might as well pray in latin. The latin divine office (1972 ed) covers quite a lot of holy scripture (esp the psalms) There is also a section of the divine office given over to the 'proper of the saints( office of readings) Here one can get an introduction to the lives and works of the saints on their feastdays. It would be nice to get together say once a week and pray some hour of the office (eg morning prayer)when one is more familiar with the grammar and vocab' of the prescribed text.
Thank
