I'm putting up an experimental site, called Latin for Children, which uses cartoon avatars and audio.
This is an idea I've been playing with for a long time, but only recently found the online technology to enable me to produce it for free.
I'm curious about how this would work with kids - I expect the cartoons will help make it more interesting, and hold attention for longer.
Each lesson is very short - the method is Comenius' Vestibulum, which begins with very short sentences and gradually builds up, while introducing quite a wide ranging vocabulary of around 2 000 words. I will add some basic grammar into the mix later on.
