This board is a composition workshop, like a writers' workshop: post your work with questions about style or vocabulary, comment on other people's work, post composition challenges on some topic or form, or just dazzle us with your inventive use of galliambics.

Today I showed a copy of these verses to a Greek professor (along with the recent Latin elegiacs that I posted). I nervously await whether he has any comments. (He's a busy man, so he may not.)

I would love to hear of any comments he had, if you're willing to air these in public. Of all the work with Greek I do, composition is the one I worry most about undertaking without expert guidance.

No word yet, but I'll certainly post whatever I hear.
