Greek Phrase Book

Post by bedwere »

Carolus Reticus not only transcribed Latin Phrase Book by C. Meissner for the Gutenberg Project, but he also created a very useful html version, Carl Meissner's "Latin Phrase Book", Unleashed.
How about somebody doing the same things for H.W. Auden's Greek Phrase Book?
This person would post the content on Textkit for proofreading (several accents are wrong). Then we could ask Carolus Reticus's help to create the unleashed version. It would be a great help for all beginners in Greek composition.

This seems all good but it does beg the question: why don't you do it, Bedwere? Well, I have already the Ben-Hur project (by the way, please help!) and I am making the recording of Spriechen Sie Attisch?

Any taker?

Update January 22, 2017:

Please find my transcription of the book on archive.org:

The transcription of Greek Phrase Book is now complete with index!

Before I release it on archive.org, could some kind soul have a look? I corrected dozens of typos, but I'm sure I introduced some of my own:
