Exceptionally short stories.

This board is a composition workshop, like a writers' workshop: post your work with questions about style or vocabulary, comment on other people's work, post composition challenges on some topic or form, or just dazzle us with your inventive use of galliambics.

Exceptionally short stories.

Post by TylerJordan »

Hello,

I've been working through North+Hillard and last night decided to extend past the guided sentences in their book and maybe essay an original composition. I have only gotten up to exercise 113 in their book and during my last years of Greek we were, more or less, taught to read rather than write. Most classes included about 5 English-Greek translations which never exceeded a single sentence. Thus, I apologise in advance for any mistakes present, especially of idiom and connexion.

I will no doubt try and compose more 'original' passages over the coming months in hopes that I might improve, however little, my abilities, especially with idiom which, even though I have read real Greek, often escapes me.

Anyway, here is a rather aimless short-story inspired by a television show I was watching last night.
