This board is a composition workshop, like a writers' workshop: post your work with questions about style or vocabulary, comment on other people's work, post composition challenges on some topic or form, or just dazzle us with your inventive use of galliambics.

When I'm more skilled in Latin, I hope to translate poems and short stories from Dutch (my mothertongue) / English into Latin. I was wondering whether there are people around here who also translate poems from the mothertongue in Latin. Perhaps you could post your work here? One of the first poems I'd want to translate would be ''Stop all the clocks' by W.H. Auden

Two down I did the Beatle's "Michelle". I have "Something" also, but it doesn't flow as nicely as this one does. It needs a little work.
